How to Use the Redirect Mapping Tool

Input Legacy URLs:

• You can manually enter the URLs from your legacy site into the “Legacy Site URLs” text box. Each URL should be placed on a new line.
• Alternatively, you can upload a CSV file containing the legacy URLs. The tool will automatically extract the URLs from the first column of the CSV file and populate the text box for you.

Input New Site URLs:

• Similarly, you can enter the URLs from your new or staging site into the “New Site URLs” text box, or upload a CSV file to do this automatically.

Run Redirect Mapping:

• Once both sets of URLs have been entered, click the “Run Redirect Mapping” button. The tool will compare each legacy URL against the new site URLs and display the best match, along with a similarity score.

Download the Results:

• After the mapping process is complete, click the “Download Results as CSV” button to save the results to your computer. The CSV file will contain the legacy URLs, their best match from the new site, and the match score.
